In-Patient Detox and Rehabilitation

In-Patient Detox and Rehabilitation

For individuals aiming to achieve long-term abstinence from alcohol and/or drug use, in-patient detox and residential rehab may be part of their treatment journey. In Derbyshire, this pathway is funded by Derbyshire County Council and can only be accessed through our service.

What is In-Patient Detox?

  • A medically-managed detoxification programme in a hospital or residential setting.
  • Helps safely reduce and stop use of alcohol or drugs.
  • Typically lasts 1–2 weeks.
  • Focuses on physical stabilisation and withdrawal management.
  • May be followed by residential rehabilitation.

What is Residential Rehabilitation (Rehab)?

  • A structured, supportive programme typically lasting 3–6 months.
  • Can follow detox or be a stand-alone treatment option.
  • Aims to help people overcome substance-related issues, explore underlying behaviours, and build skills for lasting recovery.
  • Different rehab models available:
    • 12-Step
    • Eclectic
    • Therapeutic Community

Our team will help match you with a rehab that suits your individual needs and preferences.
